Taxi Cabs
When taking a taxi cab specially when coming from the airport, always politely ask the driver to turn the meter on. If the driver insist to keep it off for reasons such as it's broken, negotiate the price before starting your journey. To give you an idea, if you go to White mansion coming from Davao City International Airport, taxi fare will should exceed P100 (aircon or non-aircon taxis). But please feel free to tip Davao City's hard working drivers.
Water
Davao City has one of the cleanest water supply in the world. But if you have health issues, or unsure if your system can adjust to different water qualities, we advise you to buy bottled water first.
